Damon Nagel established Ironfish Adelaide in 2006 with the mission to help more people in his home state save for their future through property investment.

With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, spanning property management, investment and development, Damon is widely regarded as one of South Australia’s top residential market experts. He is also a highly successful property investor, with an extensive portfolio of properties in Australia and the UK.

In addition to heading up Ironfish Adelaide, Damon set up Starfish Developments in 2011 – along with Ironfish Founder Joseph Chou – to meet a gap in the local market for high quality, contemporary homes which would also deliver further value to investors.

Before joining Ironfish, Damon established a market-leading property management and investment company in London. After selling the business to return home with his young family, Damon set up the Ironfish Adelaide office in mid-2006. He has contributed to our national expansion over the past decade, which has helped thousands of Australians to find their freedom through smart portfolio investment.

An inspiring entrepreneur, Damon is known for innovation and challenging the status quo to continually improve our service offerings at Ironfish. He is committed to fostering a strong, creative team spirit; and is particularly encouraging and supportive of younger investors – both staff and customers – to get started in property investment.

Damon has a passion for fine wine and is the owner of award-winning boutique winery Brackenwood Vineyard. He continues to be inspired by the parklands, character and potential of Adelaide. This influences everything – from his dedication to educating local property investors, the progressive architecture of Starfish Developments’ homes, through to capturing the regional character of the Adelaide Hills in his biodynamically-produced wine.
