Zerrin didn’t always know she wanted to be a Property Manager. She originally pursued studies in the Interior Design space, but soon realised that she had more of a fascination with the Melbourne Property market than the Feng Shui of a house.
Growing up in Carlton, Brunswick and Northcote and witnessing the changes over time provided Zerrin with a solid foundation and insight into the market conditions, demographic and culture in the North Eastern suburbs. With her intimate personal knowledge, passion and progressive market research, we consider Zerrin a specialist in the North East of Melbourne and it is only fitting that her portfolio largely revolves around this region.
Renowned for her zealous personality and charming sense of humour, Zerrin brings laughter and playfulness to the office. But don’t let this side of her fool you as she is a warrior when it comes to getting the job done. Greatly admired by her peers for being calm headed and centred, Zerrin is able to dissect tricky situations quickly, gain perspective and formulate a suitable action plan.
She is highly ambitious, backed by a strong work ethic and possesses an immense desire to further educate herself and continue her growth in the real estate business. As part of her commitment and long term goals, she has pledged to complete her full Real Estate Licence by mid-2018.
Free time for Zerrin means swimming laps at the local pool or uncovering amazing food pockets and treasures hidden away in the many alcoves of Melbourne city.
Why Zerrin loves MPM:
“I have been mentored and received unimaginable and enriching support since I started working with MPM. The loving office space filled with happy staff makes me believe we can truly succeed in our mandates as a property management firm.”

With 15 years in the property industry – across valuations and
investment advisory – Jarrod has shaped a skillset that delivers for clients. His background in valuations underpins a keen sense of what makes a good investment. And combined with a tremendous depth of contemporary knowledge about the Melbourne inner suburban market, Jarrod brings a confidence-born-of-experience to negotiations that makes him especially effective in these high-pressured moments.
Jarrod also values the importance of ‘people’ skills, and makes it a priority to genuinely listen and really understand clients’ needs whilst, in his role as property team manager, mentoring and developing his colleagues.
Jarrod developed an interest in property from a young age, ever since he completed work-experience for a family friend’s real estate company in high school. Studying a Bachelor of Business (Property) at university, he completed his studies in late 2000 before putting his skills to use as a property valuer. In mid-2005 he moved to Melbourne to work at a large multi-national agency, preparing property valuations principally with a commercial focus. This role clarified that his greater passion was for residential property, which led him to an inner-city residential valuation role in early 2007. Jarrod commenced with Wakelin Property Advisory in 2010, where he took up the role as manager of the property advisory team. In 2011 he became an Associate Director of the company. Jarrod is an active property investment educator delivering webinars and seminars, and he also contributes frequently to various media sources.

Kevin has been involved in Real Estate on an international scale spanning from Ireland, the United Kingdom to China & Australia. Originating from Ireland, he completed an RICS accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Property Investment & Development.
Following this Kevin focused the initial years of his career in Commercial Property Management whereby he managed a diversified property portfolio throughout the UK to include residential apartments, office buildings, shopping centres, retail parks, standalone retail units & industrial warehousing. Managing these varied assets in some of the major cities in the UK gave him vital experience within the Real Estate industry.
Kevin then moved into the residential development market, taking up the role of Property Development Manager for one of Northern Irelands largest housing developers. During his 3 years in this role he took a number of projects through the entire development life cycle from start to finish. This was during one of the worse global recessions, which presented numerous challenges for property developers. This required innovative thinking to overcome financial constraints with mortgages & to produce sales in a very subdued market.
Having a great interest in travel and being an Australian Citizen, Kevin decided to emigrate to Australia in late 2012. Soon after his arrival he secured a Commercial Property Management role at a leading Real Estate company in Melbourne CBD. Again he managed a mixed portfolio of properties for a range of clients. After almost 2 years in this position, Kevin alongside Hiona founded HKC Property Consultants.
Kevin prides himself on his excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Outside of business Kevin has a keen interest in sport, music and travel.

Born and bred locally, I attended St Bernards College which was a wonderful grounding and to this day I attend the school reunions every year . I was fortunate to find my passion early in life, Real Estate and with Real Estate running through my family it was inevitable I would pursue a career in the industry.
My start came in 1989 joining P. Di Natale Real Estate as a junior in Footscray run by my uncle. Footscray provided many challenges and I had to adapt quickly to the riggers of property management in the West, nevertheless this was an excellent grounding to the start my career.
I was then approached by Brad Teal in Essendon to join the firm and quickly rose to head the property management department . After 7 years with Brad Teal, the calling came of Postcode 3000. The start of the boom city living and an explosion of new residential buildings hit our skyline, a challenge I relished at Dingle Partners for 3 years contributing to their market leader tag in town.
In 2003 the opportunity arose to set up my own property management business in the CBD, quickly growing to becoming one of the main competitors in the CBD.
After 5 years it was time to take a break and reluctantly sold my business. I chose to spend a little more quality time with a young growing family and travel abroad to experience the abundance of cultures in both Europe and Asia.
The introduction back into Property Management lead me to a small firm in inner Melbourne and transform an outdated property management dept with an old portfolio, poor systems and procedures into a cutting edge forward thinking Property Management Department.
In 2013, after spending the last 18 months working and managing properties under the NRAS program, Melbourne Residential Property Management was born . A boutique property management company with emphasis on a high level of personal customer service and building strong client relations.
With a career spanning over 25 years I am driven by my achievements and have built a strong reputation in the industry. I demonstrate my commitment though my continual updated training and being an active member of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria.
Now residing in the Macedon Ranges I met my wife in Real Estate and have since chosen to bring up our 4 children in a semi rural environment within an easy commute to Melbourne.
I relish my role as a father and spend my recreational time enjoying soccer, AFL and aquatic sports with my family. A life long Essendon Supporter and founding member of Melbourne City FC, I’m also passionate about my sport. As a sponsor and junior committee member of the Green Gully Soccer Club, I look forward to a successful year ahead with continued development of our kids and our club.

Dannielle Hitchens might be young, but she’s already a veteran property manager. Beginning her career in part time reception, Dannielle was quickly co-opted into a full time Property Management role where, in no time at all, she was up to her neck in a busy portfolio. The desire for a change of scenery from the bucolic far south east of Melbourne, to a busier urban lifestyle, got Dannielle searching for a new place to work. One look at MRE’s website and she was hooked on securing a position.
Despite confessing to being a touch overwhelmed by such a large organisation, Dannielle soon realised MRE was populated by friendly fellow professionals committed to helping each other out, and she is impressed by the support systems, high end technology and comprehensive ongoing training.
Dannielle appreciates the importance of building an effective and meaningful relationship with all her clients and genuinely cares about them all. Her warm and open communicating style, along with total accountability, builds trust and ensures that premium customer service continues to be a MRE hallmark.
Fun fact, Dannielle’s mum enjoys a long and successful real estate career in sales, and she couldn’t be prouder that her daughter is carrying on with a family tradition. In her downtime, highly social Dannielle enjoys weekend brunches and spending time with friends. Weather permitting, she loves the outdoors and highly ranks the Peninsula beaches.
Dannielle can be contacted on dannielle@melbournerealestate.com.au

Being a Director of the Property Management division, Mel leads her team with a hard working attitude, straight shooter approach and tenacious drive to provide consistent, first class service to each and every client.
Her passion for the property industry started early as a year 11 student, with a school work experience role in a Real Estate agency. This sparked her love of the industry and commitment ever since. Working her way through the ranks, she started out in an administration role whilst studying for her Agents Representative Certificate, was one of the first intakes in a traineeship with the REIV, later achieved her full certificate and purchased her first investment property at 21yrs old. Melanies major achievement in her career to date is becoming the REIV/The Age Property Manager of the Year which then resulted in becoming the National Property Manager of the Year (REIA). She is the only person in Victoria to have accomplished this.
What makes her team different and gives it the competitive edge is the attention to detail and tight procedures she sets to ensure consistent high levels of delivery. As an owner of the business, she maintains a hands on role to oversee this and to provide a more attentive duty of care. She also maintains a policy to allocate fewer properties per manager, this provides more time to build relationships and maintain quality.
Her renovation project knowledge and management skills are a unique asset to her role. She is not just interested in managing a property well, but also helping with investment goals and higher rental returns. This is all made possible due to her tight leadership and the collaboration of solid team of contacts working to the same standards and vision. She loves the variety her role brings and attributes her successes to passion for the industry, a genuine love for what she does, integrity, saying you will do what you say you will and attitude, treating every outcome positively, always moving forwards and treating people with respect and professionalism.
When she is not working, she loves to spend time with her family, gardening and western riding with her horses.

Property Manager Kiandra Haines is passionate about the real estate industry and has been working in it for a number of years. She moved up quickly in the sector after starting out as an assistant to a property manager, and then spending time as a Property Manager Associate before she gained responsibility for her own portfolio. Her rapid rise indicates her commitment to learning as much she can about real estate and the local markets year after year, and her ability to interact well with clients from all sorts of backgrounds and with varying needs.
Kiandra is known for being a proactive Property Manager. She believes in avoiding unwanted future surprises for her clients, herself, and her employer, and continually looks for ways to make deals go forward smoothly. She is an honest communicator who tells it like it is, and also ensures she is reliable. Kiandra says, “I like my clients to know I can be trusted to consistently carry out my duties and provide a service that meets – or hopefully exceeds – their expectations.”
Before she joined the real estate industry, Kiandra worked with Rand Transport – the largest cold freight company in all of Australia. She was employed initially as a Proof of Delivery (POD) clerk, but was promoted to the Coles account within just two months of starting, due to her initiative and keen eye for detail. Kiandra says, “One of my strengths is my strong attention to detail. Some people might say I’m borderline OCD, but I think my ability to think of every contingency and follow up on each detail makes me an excellent Property Manager!”
Kiandra was born and bred in Victoria, and happily has all of her family living nearby in Melbourne still too. When she’s not working, she loves to play music, hit the netball courts, travel extensively, and support the Western Bulldogs Football Club (she is a long time player sponsor). In addition, Kiandra is a big foodie, so can often be found out and about in Melbourne cafes, restaurants, and farmers’ markets.
